The Christina Collection - Grow Through What You Go Through :D

A really bright journal page using one of the sentiments from The Christina Collection as my inspiration :D I had so much fun layering up different elements on this background, they might not all be visible from a distance, but when you look at it up close, you keep noticing different layers of interest :D I really enjoyed using the trellis dies as stencils again too, and they even work with ghosting as well :D :D Hope you enjoyed this journal layout!! The Christina Collection - Magnetic Butterflies :D

A quick video showing how I made some magnetic butterflies :D I went through a phase a few years back of making and selling magnetic butterflies, and I used to stamp and heat emboss in black onto acetate, then trim them out with scissors and use alcohol markers and nail varnish remover on the back of them to add colour, then I gave them the gem body and a magnet too :D And as soon as I saw this stunning butterfly in Christina's collection, I just had to use it to make some more, and I thought why not make a rainbow of them and use my Gilding Polish to add some shimmer :D You could cut all the butterflies from white if you wanted, but then you would need to spend more time trying to cover the whole thing with gilding polish, having the same colour of card underneath saves time and product too :D :D Hope you liked the video :D :D

You can purchase Christina's entire collection exclusively from CraftStash :D And for a limited time (until Tuesday 24th October 2017) you can use the code WOWCMM10 at the checkout to get 10% off of the Christina Collection :D

Tonic-tastic Shaker Coffin Halloween Decoration :D

I love the 2017 Halloween collection of dies from Tonic, they are so gorgeous, and there's so much you can do with them all!! I had this idea to create a shallow shaker (full of bones) in the top of the coffin box, and I was planning on keeping it as a functioning box, however I decided to use pearlescent card to make my box, and because the frame of the shaker was so thin, the glue didn't want to hold on the pearly finish, so I ended up sealing the box and making it a decoration instead, so if I made this again, I would definitely use regular black card instead, the pearly card would be fine for a regular box, but with the added shaker element, there really needed to be a good bond :D I think it makes a cool decoration though, and it's nice to have the interactive shaker element too :D :D Hope you liked seeing how I made this :D :D

Ever Wondered What to Do with Your Tonic Packaging Pins? :D

I have quite a few of these fab little packaging pins from my collection of Tonic dies, stencils, stamps etc... and I wanted to make them into something I could use rather than them just sitting in a box :D They're such lovely little designs, and obviously the butterflies are my favourite ones :D Apparently they are for security reasons, but I just thought they're such an ingenious little accessory, so I've made mine into magnets :D I did make a bunch of these about a year ago now, but the footage I'd filmed was a little blurry, and I hadn't quite found a glue that worked well, however as soon as they brought out the Nuvo Deluxe adhesive, I tried it to see if it could hold a magnet, and it does brilliantly, the test one is still together after a number of months, so I thought I'd film another video (not blurry lol) just to show what I like to do with mine :D

Main products you'll need :D
The Packaging Pins (basically any Tonic die set, stencil or some stamps)
Tonic Tim Holtz 7" Serrated Scissors
5mm x 2mm Neodymium Magnets
Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive
